National Trainee Survey 2007

PMETB has announced the launch of the second national trainee survey.

Between 3 December and 14 December all trainees* in approved training posts, including Foundation doctors, should receive an email requesting completion of the survey. The email will be from trainee.survey@pmetb.org.uk and will contain a link and a unique Survey Access Code for the receipient to acces and complete the survey on-line. If you don't receive your email by 15 December please go to www.pmetb.org.uk/traineesurvey.

The survey asks you to evaluate the training in the post you were in on 30 November 2007. Significantly this year there will be specialty-specific questions in the majority of specialties.

For more information about the survey please visit the PMETB website.

If you have any questions about the survey please submit your query via the on-line query form.

*Exceptions to this are those trainees on leave, trainees who are out of programme, Dentists and SpRs who have been awarded their CCT but are awaiting a consultant post.

National Trainee Survey 2006

In May 2006 PMETB launched its first national trainee survey aimed at all doctors in post-Foundation training posts.

The questions in the survey were designed to relate directly to PMETB's Generic Training Standards and to provide a key source of evidence for ongoing quality assurance of specialist training and educational programmes in postgraduate medicine.

The survey has now been completed and results have been made available to Deaneries, Colleges and Faculties.
