Dental Hygienists and Therapists
Dear Colleagues,
I would like to introduce myself as the Dental Hygiene and Therapy Tutor here at the Yorkshire Deanery.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for dental hygienists and therapists is to become mandatory in July 2008. From that date all registered hygienists and therapists will have to fulfil a specified number of verifiable CPD hours to maintain their place on the DCP register.
My role is to provide relevant CPD courses for all dental hygienists and therapists in the area covered by the Yorkshire Deanery.
To help me to do this I would like to find out your opinions and any ideas or suggestions you may have on topics for your CPD.
There is a short questionnaire below that would enable me to organise courses of interest to you.
The Deanery also holds a database of dental hygienists and therapists in the area which enables us to contact you with details of courses on offer and application forms.
