Mr David Hartoch, Adviser for East Yorkshire Scheme
The East Yorkshire Scheme is run on Wednesdays from the Hull Royal infirmary.
We aim to overview all aspects of clinical dentistry using speakers and peer review. We also spend time looking at communication and business management skills not taught at undergraduate level.
At the end of the VT year we hope the VDPs will have all the tools to assess practice procedures and carry out successful, ethical Dentistry.
Being in Hull we follow the FISH principle of ‘work made fun, gets done’.
David aims to make the VT year as enjoyable and fun as possible. Courses are structured to be hands on and we have several days away at meetings, conferences and trade shows.
