John Butterfield, adviser for York Scheme
The York Scheme is run by Mr John Butterfield and covers the North Yorkshire area ranging from Selby in the south to Stokesley in the north and from Ripon in the west to Scarborough and Whitby on the East coast.
Study days are usually held on a Friday and are mainly based at the York Hospital though there are several away days, notably three days at the BDA conference and joint days with the Wakefield and East Yorkshire Humberside groups.
There are several” hands on” study days offering experience in minor oral surgery, prosthetics, endodontics and managing the worn dentition.
John is always on hand to offer support and advice to the VDP and has had 8 years experience as a trainer, 3 years in his role as an adviser as well as having his own 5 Surgery practice in Selby.
