Recruitment to F1 posts in the UK is achieved using the national website UKFPO website. Following completion of the process in April any posts still vacant will be advertised via the British Medical Journal (BMJ) or on their bmj careers website and NHS jobs website NHSjobs.
Recruitment to F2 posts is achieved by foundation schools, throughout the UK, running local processes for those doctors currently in F1 posts. Following completion of these local processes any F2 vacancies will be advertised via the BMJ or on their bmj careers website and the NHS jobs website NHSjobs. As the foundation schools run their recruitment processes at different times it is advisable to check regularly.
Vacancies for F1 and F2 posts can also occur at any time should a trainee have to vacate a post and such vacancies are advertised via the BMJ and its website bmj careers and the NHS jobs website NHSjobs
