Welcome to the Yorkshire Histopathology Training website. The purpose of this site is primarily to provide local trainees with any relevent information that they may need while on rotation in the Yorkshire training scheme such as induction information when they first start, details of rotas, teaching and courses, assessment processes and contacts around the region. As an added bonus this will also serve as an indispensible reference source for consultants in the region, particularly those involved with training, and for those individuals, medical students or Foundation Year trainees for example, who wish to find out more about training in histopathology on this excellent training scheme.
The information contained on this website has been obtained from a wide range of sources and is mainly provided in the format of openly accessible pages of text, Word or pdf files or external links. A proportion of the information, intended for those involved in the training scheme only, is contained in a password protected area (contact trainee representatives in People and Places for more information).
Now the Leeds training is based at St James's in Bexley Wing, there is a new combined Leeds trainees' rota, available in the restricted area
NB. Leeds Teaching Hospitals network users already allocated a username and password (ie ALL HISTOPATHOLOGY TRAINEES IN POST) MUST log on to the system at least 3 monthly to keep the user account active. It causes great problems if the accounts are allowed to become inactive so ideally when one is posted outside Leeds it is advisable to just log on to the system once a month during a visit to Leeds for Wednesday teaching. Thanks very much!
RITA 2007 - The three required forms are now available from the forms subsection of the appraisal section, here
