Trainee Representatives

'The trainee representatives below have been nominated from each training location within the School to create a trainee network across Yorkshire. The purpose is so that any difficulties encountered can be identified promptly and relayed centrally for attention, and also to share 'good practice' between different hospitals - it should not prevent difficulties/concerns being raised with educational supervisors and TPD's, but is a complementary route. All of these trainee representatives will need to meet together at intervals, and this group will select representatives to join the various School committees and sub-committees. Their function will resemble that of the previous ACT's (Associate College Tutors), but with close involvement with the running of the School, and there will need to be broad representation of all of the training programmes and all levels of trainee seniority. Dr Andrew Clegg (SpR in Medicine for the Elderly, Bradford) is the lead individual developing this initiative. There are currently a number of vacancies due to the recent rotations. If you are interested in taking up one of the posts please contact Dr Clegg.
